Fatameh Rasti Boroojeni
PhD student

I graduated from Sharif University of Technology with MSc in biomedical engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran. My MSc. thesis was about "Fabrication of Conductive Nanofiberous Scaffold To Nerve Tissue Engineering". I have completed my BSc. in biomedical engineering with specializing in biomaterials from Amirkabir University of Technology. During my BSc., I studied BSc. of polymer engineering simultaneously with biomedical engineering. My BSc. thesis was on this topic of designing and fabricating polyelectrolyte hydrogel scaffold to control embryonic stem-cells' fate.
Research interest
In my research I focus on designing and fabricating 4D hydrogels, 3D cell culture and organ-on-chip. The mechanical and physical properties of this kind of hydrogels can be tuned over time by cellular activity.
