Livia Civitelli
Master Thesis student

I am a molecular biologist, who became interested in protein-protein or protein-membrane interactions and this curiosity brought me to the biochemical and structural study of proteins within the cells.
Research interest
Proteins are my primary interests, in particular amyloid proteins and their involvement in neurodegeneratve diseases. Extremely passionate about neurotoxicty and signalling cascades.
Expertise in
- Amyloid diseases
- Protein folding and aggregation pathways
- Cell-to-cell 3D modelling
- Protein purification
- Cell toxicity
