Anna is a doctoral student with a joint employment between Linköping University and Örebro University. Prior to starting her PhD in 2017 she completed a international master´s programme in biomedicine at the Medical Faculty in Linköping and she also holds a degree in odontology from Gothenburg University. Anna is combining her PhD studies with part-time clinical duty.
In my research I study periodontitis (tooth-loss). I focus on improving diagnostics of this disease by measuring biomarkers with nano sensors. We are also interested in studying the effects of bacteriocins on key-pathogens such as P.gingivalis.
